This Halloween night, the Museum of Pop Culture invites you to an intergalactic night out with Fashionably Undead, its annual Halloween Bash, on October 31 from 8 PM to midnight. The aliens have landed, and they are ready to dance: this year’s edition celebrates the golden age of alien invasion, with flying saucers, retro-futuristic style and the thrills of 1950s and ’60s science fiction.
The museum stays open after dark with an evening full of cosmic fun: a costume contest with a $500 grand prize for the best solo or interplanetary-crew costume, a horror-movie voting wall, an alien-invasion scavenger hunt through the galleries, UFO photo moments, sci-fi movie trivia with Crypticon Seattle and tarot readings. There will also be a mini gallery exploring the history and meaning behind alien-invasion stories, plus live performances and DJ sets to keep the dance floor moving all night.
Earthlings, aliens and everything in between are welcome at this 21+ celebration, one of Seattle Center’s most creative Halloween nights. Tickets are available now on the MoPOP website.
