Spooky Safari Brings Three Nights of Trick-or-Treating to the Phoenix Zoo

Calling all ghosts and goblins: the Phoenix Zoo hosts Spooky Safari, three spook-tacular nights of Halloween fun on Wednesday, October 28, Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Families can trick-or-treat through the Zoo, stopping by themed candy stations all across the park. The evenings also feature face painting, an hourly costume parade and bewitching activities that will make everyone howl with delight, plus entertainment from DJ Mars Glow Parties and the Dino Crew.

Admission is $18 per person, and children 2 and under are free. Tickets include entrance to the Zoo and access to the games and entertainment; food and drinks will be available for purchase. Rides add extra adventure: the Lakeside Carousel is $3 for members and $4 for general guests, and camel rides are $7 for members and $8 for general guests. One friendly rule from the Zoo: please, no toy guns.

Tickets are limited and these nights often sell out early, so booking ahead is a smart move. The Phoenix Zoo is at 455 North Galvin Parkway.

Happy City News Phoenix will keep sharing the happiest family plans across the Valley.
