Nashville gets an early dose of Christmas magic this fall. On Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery welcomes the whole community to its Holiday Open House, a festive evening inside one of the city’s most beloved historic places, Happy City News is happy to share.
For one special night, the 1853 Greek Revival mansion and its grounds shine with twinkling lights and holiday decorations. Guests can stroll through the festively decorated mansion on walkthroughs offered on a first-come, first-served basis, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy Christmas carolers and live holiday music. Little ones can get creative with family-friendly crafts and activities, while grown-ups can sample wine and bourbon tastings, seasonal food pairings and holiday-themed cocktails. The site’s gift shops and on-site restaurants stay open all evening, so there is plenty of time for holiday shopping and a seasonal treat.
Belle Meade is far more than a pretty house. Set on more than 30 acres in west Nashville, it preserves Tennessee’s history, architecture, hospitality and equestrian legacy: the estate was once one of the most influential stud farms in American racing history, and every visit supports its educational mission. The site is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with mansion tours starting every 30 to 45 minutes.
The Holiday Open House takes place at Belle Meade Historic Site, with arrival at 110 Leake Avenue in Nashville. Check visitbellemeade.com for the latest details before you go, gather family and friends, and start a new holiday tradition in Nashville.
