Get ready for the cutest day of the season: Dog Days returns to the Dallas Zoo on Oct. 30, 2026, with a special Costume Edition! Your four-legged best friend is invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume — or coordinate a matching look with your pup — for a spooktacular day of exploring the Zoo together.
Dog Days has become one of the Zoo’s most beloved traditions, and the dog tickets for this edition went fast: they sold out quickly, a sign of just how much Dallas families adore this event. The good news? Humans are still welcome! Come enjoy the festive atmosphere, snap unforgettable costume photos, and share the joy of wild adventures with your furry companion.
Admission is $22 for adults and $19 for seniors and youth, and it’s free for Dallas Zoo members and children under 2. Dog admission was $22 per dog, with a limit of one dog per adult guest. Tickets for humans and dogs must be purchased online in advance, and the Zoo asks all dog owners to follow the event’s friendly safety rules: up-to-date vaccinations, keeping your pup under control, and promptly cleaning up along the way.
It all adds up to a tail-wagging celebration where the whole family — two-legged and four-legged — makes memories together. Happy City News can’t wait to see the costumes!
