COSI is huge — so families need a battle plan. Start in the Dinosaur Gallery while energy is high (the T. rex photo is mandatory), then ride the high-wire unicycle if your crew is brave: it’s the most famous 17 seconds in Columbus science.
Little ones rule in little kidspace, a wonderland of water, building and pretend designed just for ages 0–5, while bigger kids gravitate to the Gadgets gallery’s contraptions and the Ocean’s submarine. The Progress town time-travels everyone, and a Big Science Park session outside burns off the wiggles between shows at the planetarium and the giant-screen theater.
Buy tickets online, arrive at opening, and let each kid pick one “must-do” — COSI rewards the plan and the wandering equally.
This is the Midwest’s science playground. Columbus just happens to own it.
