Christmas Village in Baltimore: A German Holiday Market at the Inner Harbor, November 22–December 24

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor smells of bratwurst and glühwein again: Christmas Village in Baltimore returns to West Shore Park from November 22 through December 24, 2026 — the authentic German-style Christmas market that has become a Baltimore holiday institution.

Families wander rows of wooden booths selling European ornaments, nutcrackers and knitwear; ride the carousel and Ferris wheel; warm up in the heated Käthe Wohlfahrt tent; and graze through schnitzel, strudel, raclette and hot chocolate. Santa holds court for photos, and the market’s big Christmas tree lights the harbor promenade each evening.

Christmas Village is at 501 Light Street along the Inner Harbor promenade, open daily through Christmas Eve (hours vary; closed some early weekdays — check christmasvillagebaltimore.com). Admission is modest and some days are free; go at dusk when the lights come on.
